Active board members
Amy Young, BBA, CCEMT-P, currently is dedicated full time to the operation of Reviving Responders. Amy, until January of 2016 was the Director of Ground Operations West at CareFlite in Grand Prairie, Texas, before leaving to spend more time with her family and to pursue her passion for Reviving Responders full time. She’s been a paramedic since 1996 and has worked in hospital-based, rural, and third-service EMS systems. She holds a critical care paramedic certification from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County and a Bachelor of Business Administration with a minor in management from Tarleton State University in Stephenville, Texas.
Amy is one of the 7 co-founders of reviving responders and has been the figure head since the beginning, Amy spends her energies and efforts connecting the members of Reviving responders to those who request our information, want to assist us in our research and setting up presentations at various conferences.
Monique Rose, CCEMT-P, is a Captain and works in the special operations division at Humboldt General Hospital in Winnemucca, Nev. She’s been a paramedic for several years and also serves as a Logistic Chief, coordinating special events. She also serves as a reserve police officer and tactical paramedic. She holds a paramedic specialist (critical care) certification from the University of Iowa and is working toward an Associate’s of Applied Science from the College of Southern Nevada.
Reviving Responders is the brain child of Monique, she was the one who proposed this idea to this group and everyone immediately knew that this was something that needed to be passionately pursued. Monique has done an amazing job of bravely opening up and sharing her intimate story of first hand experience with critical stress. Monique shares this story at most presentations we give, adding to her journey on the road to recovery.
